1. The service
Lyceo provides Le Prof, an online French course with AI-generated practice, grading, and exam preparation. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. One account is for one person.
3. A free service
Lyceo is entirely free. Every language, unit, exam and certificate is available to every account at no charge. There are no subscriptions, no trials and no payments. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, these terms will be updated and nothing you already have will be taken away.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no scraping, reselling, sharing your account, attempting to break or overload the system, or using it unlawfully. We may apply reasonable usage limits.
5. AI-generated content
Lessons are fixed and human-authored. Exercises, grading, conversation, and feedback are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors. They are a study aid, not a guarantee of accuracy, and our practice certificates are not official DELF or DALF diplomas, which are issued solely by France Education international.
6. Intellectual property
The course, software, and brand are owned by Lyceo. Your own submissions remain yours; you grant us the limited right to process them to provide the service.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to $0, reflecting that the service is provided free of charge.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.
